If you’re looking to Go Jurassic this Christmas, and searching for the perfect gift for the dinosaur-mad child in your life (that also gives back to a local charity), look no further than the Jurassic Coast Trust’s Go Jurassic Rangers club. A 12-month Rangers membership includes a gift-wrapped pack with a bevy of Jurassic Fantastic items delivered in time for Christmas, plus exclusive rewards for “Dippy on Tour” in early 2018.
Rangers and their families can see Dippy whenever they like, without needing to book a spot in advance, during the iconic dinosaur’s residency at Dorset County Museum next year. This should prove handy as many of the days during Dippy’s stay in Dorset have already sold out. Rangers and their families will also be invited to a special behind-the-scenes tour of Dippy prior to his public opening, have priority access to tickets for Dippy Sleepovers, and be invited to other exclusive events across the Jurassic Coast throughout 2018.
All proceeds from Go Jurassic Rangers go to the Jurassic Coast Trust, to help protect and conserve the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and inspire and educate people about its incredible stories. The club currently has over 100 members, based both locally and further afield. With feedback from parents like, “One of the best presents I have ever bought for my son. He loves the magazine and posters”, now is the perfect time to join up.
Guy Kerr from the Jurassic Coast Trust said, “Go Jurassic Rangers is the club for children aged 4-11 who love dinosaurs, fossils and the Jurassic Coast. We’re delighted to offer free entry to Dorset County Museum during Dippy on Tour to our Rangers and their families, as well as a year’s worth of brilliant events across the Jurassic Coast, and regular packs in the post. We look forward to more families deciding to Go Jurassic this Christmas and come on board.”
