Now everyone can take a virtual Walk Through Time, from a number of museums and Visitor Centres along the Jurassic Coast.
This eagerly awaited interactive experience has now been installed at the following venues (east to west): Wareham Museum, Durlston Country Park Visitor Centre, Weymouth Museum, Portland Bill Visitor Centre, Bridport Museum, Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre, Lyme Regis Museum and Sidmouth Museum.
The interactive ‘Walk Through Time’ explores the local stories that give the Jurassic Coast its rich character, together with animated explanations about the geology and geomorphology we see today. It is a great way for visitors to get their bearings, and to be inspired to explore the whole of the World Heritage Site – wherever they happen to be staying.
This opportunity can easily be show-cased by any business without specialist equipment, and will enhance the overall Jurassic Coast visitor experience for all your customers. The ‘Walk Through Time’ interactive will also be available as a CD-ROM for customers to purchase, and proceeds will go to the Jurassic Coast Trust, funding conservation projects along the Jurassic Coast.
