Jurassic Coast Summer Walks Series

The Jurassic Coast Trust is organising a series of six guided walks over the summer period, helping locals and visitors alike to explore our incredible World Heritage Site and to unlock its fascinating stories.

The walks series kicks off in Beer, East Devon, next Thursday 21^st July. It then takes in West Bay, Abbotsbury, Ringstead and Sidmouth, before concluding with the recently reopened Undercliffs Nature Reserve. The walks range in duration from three to five hours and explore a wide variety of terrains and settings.

All walks are led by local Jurassic Coast “Ambassadors”, specially trained volunteers who work with the Trust to promote understanding and engagement with the Jurassic Coast. Each Ambassador will add their own perspective to their walk, offering expert commentary about the incredible geology, scenery, human history and wildlife on display in each area.

Places on each walk are £5 per person, with a “season ticket” covering all six walks available for £20. All proceeds go the Trust to enable them to continue their work.
