Seaton Tramway is launching an exciting new Dinosaur Tram Adventure for the upcoming Easter holidays. Families and children are sure to enjoy the adventure-filled tram ride featuring music, stories, and a fossil dig and dinosaur activity area at Colyton Station.
The Dinosaur Tram Adventure will depart from Seaton Terminus on Sunday 16th & 23rd April, then at regular dates throughout the year. When booking, passengers can make an optional donation to the Jurassic Coast Trust, helping to look after England’s only natural World Heritage Site, and ensuring its phenomenal stories will continue to be told.
The new adventure will feature Professor Percival the Palaeontologist uncovering the secrets of a land that time forgot and attempting to make contact with long forgotten species. Beginning at Seaton, a specially-decorated enclosed tram will take passengers to the Dinosaur Activity Area at Colyton Station. Along the way there will be lots of music and stories and children will receive a goody bag, along with audio from the Jurassic Coast Team and Forkbeard Fantasy’s A Mighty Tale film.
There will also be plenty of wildlife to see as the tram passes through two nature reserves on the Axe Estuary. In the Dinosaur Activity Area at Colyton Station, there will be a Dinosaur Dig, Fossil Excavation site, Dino Footprint Tracking and lots of dinosaur exhibits to touch and draw! The Jurassic Coast Trust’s local Ambassadors will also make appearances throughout the year, beginning with the opening adventure on 16th April.
