When I finally decided to swap a nine-to-five job for a life a little less ordinary, all routes led back to the Jurassic Coast.
The Jurassic Coast never fails to surprise or delight me. No matter the season, weather or conditions there’s always something new to discover.
The joy of growing up, working, living and playing on the Jurassic Coast is at the very heart our new family-run small business www.oceanrocks.co.uk which celebrates the coast, seaside and ocean.
It provides the inspiration behind the designs on our t-shirts, tops and clothes; and the ethos to provide quality, organic products with environmentally friendly and ethical suppliers and partners.
So we’re proud to be business partners with the Jurassic Coast Trust.
We love nothing more than getting out on the coast and exploring the seaside. Most people we know feel just like we do, and so do loads of others judging by the number of visitors who flock to our lovely corner of southwest England.
Being by the coast just feels good.
So why OCEANROCKS?
My kids came up with the name because it says how we feel about the coast, seaside and water. And that’s probably a good enough reason right now.
And the Jurassic Coast is where it’s the ancient rocks, and ocean which shapes them, that have made our stretch of the coastline so very special.
OCEANROCKS is real, authentic and for anyone who just loves the coast or seaside and wants to celebrate it.
We’re starting off by just producing a few t-shirts and tops for families which hope to capture some of these feelings.
As well as t-shirts and tops, www.oceanrocks.co.uk includes an OCEANROCKS Explorer guide and blog to promote our coast and help people enjoy it as much as we do.
