Important Message from Jurassic Coast Trust from Lucy Culkin, CEO
As the latest news rolls out and the effects of Coronavirus become a reality, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all Jurassic Coast Trust events which were scheduled to take place between now and the beginning of July. We will monitor this situation closely, taking government advice, and update our plans regularly.
This will include all our guided walks, our boat trips, and our Big Jurassic Summer Sleep-out and learning outreach programmes. Given the current situation, we took this decision to ensure the health and well-being of our supporters, our members, our staff and volunteers.
We will reassess the situation for our late summer events, currently due to take place in August and September in the coming weeks. For now, those events remain on sale in our online shop. If we do cancel them, please rest assured that we will offer alternatives or refunds in all cases.
Our office team will begin home-working from tomorrow. Rest assured that during this time, we will be working hard on developing our plans for protecting and conserving the coast, engagement, learning and communicating the stories of outstanding World Heritage Site, ready to welcome you again when the time is right.
We will be available on email and on the phone as well and regularly updating our online content in order to bring you inspirational images and learning experiences relating to the Jurassic Coast.
Thank you so much for your support and we wish you all the best for the coming period.
Lucy
