The Big Jurassic Classroom is all about bringing the Olympic values and the Jurassic Coast together to celebrate the 2012 Games, especially as the sailing events are taking place on our World Heritage Site next summer! We are offering two hour free teacher training sessions to all Dorset and East Devon schools over the next academic year to give teachers a helping hand in planning something fun and exciting for the Olympics.
I have recently taken over as Education Coordinator for the next 10 months to cover Anjana Ford’s maternity leave.
I am really excited to take on this new role and lead the official London 2012 inspire marked project – The Big Jurassic Classroom. This project is all about bringing the Olympic values and the Jurassic Coast together to celebrate the 2012 Games, especially as the sailing events are taking place on our World Heritage Site next summer!
We are offering two hour free teacher training sessions to all Dorset and East Devon schools over the next academic year to give teachers a helping hand in planning something fun and exciting for the Olympics.
We’ve already had 50 schools sign up so far and availabilities for training sessions are quickly being filled! If you would like more information, please read our press release or contact [email protected]
