The new version of the Jurassic Coast miniguide leaflet was launched this summer. It has been distributed throughout Dorset and East Devon, to TICs, Visitor Centres and a wide range of tourism businesses.
Early feedback has been great, and further feedback is being carried out just now.
Evaluation carried out last year greatly influenced the content and design of this new leaflet.
Stunning images, a good map and ideas how visitors can best explore the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, were three key aspects which were focussed on.
Also featured are quick reference tables listing local bus services – including the Jurassic Coast X53 bus – with frequency and route information.
Suggested walks along the South West Coast Path are highlighted, with further information about each signposted to visitors at: www.southwestcoastpath.com
And of course safety messages are given for visitors on the beach, on the coast path and collecting fossils.
