Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at one or another of the Earth Festival Stakeholder meetings. We have been overwhelmed and delighted by the level of interest, and excited at the prospect of working together to create something that is not only memorable and significant during the Olympic and Paralympic year, but that will also leave a lasting and positive legacy for those of us who live and work on the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
We will be holding the re-scheduled East Devon meeting on Thursday 13th January 2011, between 16.15 hrs and 18.45 hrs, at Honiton Community College so please come to that if you can. The meeting is primarily to discuss what is happening in East Devon, but if you were unable to attend another of the meetings, please do come along to this one. Please make sure to RSVP to Ryan Trenchard on [email protected] by Monday 10th January 2011 if you would like to attend the meeting. We will then send you details of the venue and agenda nearer the time.
You can download a PDF of the main part of my presentation earth_festival_report_from_november_2010_meetings which contains the Key Dates which may help guide event planning as well as an outline of the support that is on offer in the development stage of Earth Festival-associated events. An ‘Introduction to the Jurassic Coast’, an amalgam of presentations from the World Heritage Team including information about World Heritage, will be downloadable from www.earthfestival2012.org along with some other slides that may be useful.
