Since joining the team I have very quickly come to realise how hard they all work and how excited they all are about doing the jobs they do. I still have to pinch myself occasionally and am enjoying greatly all the challenges, new experiences and opportunities that my new job has thrown up so far, and I only started eight weeks ago!
I have helped to finish a National Nature Reserve management plan, produced a new public presentation about the Jurassic Coast, trained a new Coast Centre warden, experienced my first SSSI site assessment, taken on the coordination of a series of guided walks, written new geological interpretation for the Jurassic Coast website, been on various site visits and of course been to lots of meetings with all sorts of different people.
It’s been fascinating so far and I’m looking forward to seeing what comes my way next.
