Holidaymakers at one of Dorset’s largest holiday park operators have raised over £70,000 for the Jurassic Coast Trust since 2008, helping people to look after and understand England’s natural World Heritage Site, the Jurassic Coast.
West Dorset Leisure Holidays have raised funds through an optional donation being added to customers’ bookings across their five holiday parks, which has accumulated over the last ten years to in excess of £70,000. West Dorset Leisure Holidays are leaders in the field of charitable support along the Jurassic Coast, and their generosity has inspired over 60 other businesses large and small across the coast and beyond to join the Jurassic Coast Trust as Business Partners, contributing towards the ongoing protection of the World Heritage Site.
Securing and maintaining support from businesses is critical in enabling the Jurassic Coast Trust to carry out its work as the main organisation responsible for managing the World Heritage Site.
